Our Mission

The Center for Financial Aid Policy Research's mission is to provide enough information to ensure that financial aid reform and policies in higher education are put into effect for students of financial need. We seek to create change by advocating for transparancy in financial aid processes and for more financial aid services to be made available to all students. We ultimately hope our push for financial aid reform will help more students pursue higher education.

Our Plan of Action

1. Identify barriers to higher education institutions within current Financial Aid policies and practice
2. Make research of our findings accessible to the public and higher-ed institutions
3. Push for policy changes at the highest level using our collected research combined with public support for reform
