Adam got his Ph.D. under Roger Nicoll at UCSF where he studied the molecular mechanisms of synaptic plasticity, and completed his postdoc under Bernardo Sabatini at HMS where he studied the synaptic connectivity of cholinergic neurons. He started a group at the Stanley Center under Bernardo in 2021 where he continues to apply his skills in electrophysiology, imaging, genetics while testing new tools for probing cortical circuitry.
