GRO Director Brad Bernstein is elected to the National Academy of Medicine for "landmark contributions to our understanding of chromatin structure and function, including the establishment of principles of gene poising, repression and long-range regulation, and the identification of epigenetic mechanisms that underlie stem cell potency and tumorigenesis."
