Jonathan currently leads a funded research portfolio of over $7 million dollars in data infrastructure and governance grants. He currently serves as the Principal Investigator for the Analysis, Visualization, and Informatics Lab-space (AnVIL) funded by the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) and supporting the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Intramural Program's CRISPI Program, along with two Ethical, Legal, Social Implications awards to investigate data governance in genomic data sharing via NHGRI, and the Data Explorer initiative for the NIH Cloud Platforms Interoperability (NCPI) program.
Jonathan also serves as the Broad Institute Data Sciences Platform lead in the BioData Catalyst program funded by National Heart, Lung, Blood Institute (NHLBI), the Human Cell Atlas' Data Coordination Platform Managed Access pilot, the Dockstore program funded by NHGRI, and formerly served as Principal Investigator at Broad for the Cancer Research Data Commons (CRDC) funded by the National Cancer Institute (NCI).
