Allison Brookhart

Ally joined the MDL at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard as a Research Associate III in 2024. Her research at the MDL focuses on novel methods of single-cell whole genome sequencing and highly scalable bulk RNA sequencing. 

She earned her B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from UMass Amherst in 2022 and previously worked at the infectious disease diagnostics startup Day Zero Diagnostics.

Outside of the lab, Ally enjoys reading, running, travelling, listening to podcasts, and playing volleyball. Her dream is to sequence the greenland shark once someone buys her a kayak.
