Christophe Georgescu is a computational biologist in the Methods Development Lab at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, which he first joined in 2016 for his final Master's internship. His primary interest is in algorithms development to solve new challenges or improve on existing methods, with a dose of visualization. Most of his work has focused on RNA biology, being part of the development and maintenance of the widely used inferCNV package, and currently trying to improve on long reads RNAseq alignments visualization with ITV.
Outside of work, Christophe enjoys learning new things, gaming, music and travelling, as well as the occasional baking.
