Yang joined Cellarium AI Lab, as part of the Methods Development Lab at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. Yang completed his PhD in computational biology from University of Tennessee and continued his research journey at Broad Institute. At Cellarium AI Lab, Yang focuses on developing explainable and probabilistic models for single-cell perturbation data. He has great passion for building virtual cells nowadays.
Besides science, Yang is a big gamer and language lover. He knows Chinese, English, Japanese, and Italian, and he is currently learning his 5th language, French.
