Elisa Donnard is a senior research scientist at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard and a group leader in the Lander lab. She holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the Universidade de São Paulo and completed her postdoctoral work at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. With over 15 years of experience in genomics, her research focuses on decoding the regulatory mechanisms that influence gene expression. Her team uses differentiated stem cells to identify genetic variants driving regulatory changes in hepatocytes, applying this knowledge to understand metabolic diseases. In 2023, Elisa received a BroadIgnite award to further her research.
