Felipe Dos Santos
I have a multidisciplinary background in science, predominantly physics and biomolecular mechanisms from my undergraduate training. During my PhD, I worked closely with medical doctors and principal investigators to address challenges in personalized oncology. My research focused on analyzing individual patient data to uncover molecular mechanisms of disease and support precision medicine strategies. I also contributed to the creation of publicly available genomics and transcriptomics databases and applied bioinformatics methods to investigate alternative splicing and its impact on survival in aggressive cancer subtypes. More recently, I have been exploring morphological profiles at both the single-cell and bulk levels , studying how adipocytes respond to various stimuli or across diverse genetic backgrounds.
