Our Mission

The Pan Group in the Stanley Center for Psychiatric Research focuses on translating emerging human genetics into biological insights that can be turned into potential novel therapeutics for major psychiatric illnesses including schizophrenia and bipolar disorders. In particular, the Pan Lab has been studying the role of voltage gated ion channels in the pathophysiology of schizophrenia, and identifying modulators that may normalize their deficits.
