Research Scientist I
Eunah Yu received her PhD in Neuroscience from Seoul National University. She completed her postdoctoral training at New York University Langone Medical Center under the mentorship of Rodolfo Llinás. Her research focus is to explore the in vivo neurophysiological properties of T-type calcium channel variants from schizophrenia patients and other neuropsychiatric disorders. Using the electroencephalogram (EEG) recordings in animal models harboring the genetic variants to measure the spontaneous and evoked brain activity, she is trying to understand the pathophysiology of neuropsychiatric diseases and contribute to finding the therapeutic target and method using pharmacological screening.
