Research Scientist I
Raozhou Lin is a molecular neuroscientist with a keen interest in understanding the causes for neuropsychiatric diseases. He was first trained as a molecular biologist in the University of Hong Kong, where he obtained his PhD. Then he joined Dr. Paul Worley’s lab in the Johns Hopkins University for his postdoctoral training. In Dr. Worley’s lab, Raozhou used transcriptomic and proteomic approaches, as well as mouse genetics, to examine how activity dependent plasticity is impacted in neuropsychiatric disease conditions and models. In Stanley Center, he will leverage multiple omics platforms in the Broad Institute to identify molecular pathways and pathophysiology underlying genetic risk for schizophrenia, hoping to open up new therapeutic targets for neuropsychiatric disorders.
