Research Associate III
Thibaud Metais graduated in 2020 from the Paris Higher Biotechnology Institute (Sup’Biotech) as a biotechnology engineer, specializing in R&D. After 2 years at the Pasteur Institute Paris, with a focus muscle stem cells, he joined the Ocular genomics Institute of Harvard Medical School. There, he worked on retinal disease modeling using pluripotent stem cells and retinal organoid models. He joined the Pan group in early 2025, and is now working on drug discovery, using high throughput ions assays and electrophysiology to targeting major psychiatric illnesses.
Outside of the lab, Thibaud enjoy playing volleyball, travelling around in the US and farther, and finding new places to enjoy good food and drinks with friends.
